Our open-level samba classes cater to all - beginners through to advanced and professionals.
No partner required! Comfortable / gym clothing and shoes (no heels unless you have proper Brazilian samba professional heels, pole heels, or specifically need experience training in dance shoes)

Tuesdays - Beginners/Open level 18:00 - 19:00
Tuesdays - ‘Passista’ / performance training class 19:00 - 20:00

We operate out of Studio Candela, a boutique Afro-Latin studio. Please note the studio operates on a bookings-only basis!
Fees
Drop-in classes: R120 per person, per class

Show team, parading, special workshops and intensive training
Join our show performance team? Paid gigs available - requirement is intensive training, weekly rehearsals and commitment to the culture and art form. Get in touch!
Want to parade in Rio? Get in touch! There are opportunities for dancers as well as complete beginners/tourists to parade - we can advise
We can train you, work on posing and parading technique, assist with costume advisory and sourcing, and help you secure a parading place if your dream is to be a MUSE in the carnaval parade. Get in touch!
